Practical info
- Bike: Sensa Livigno XC (XT groupset), with 1x drivetrain and air-sprung front fork.
- Helmet: mandatory, free to borrow.
- Pedals: flat pedals (no clip-in).
- Emergency kit: patch kit + mini pump available (return after use).
- Routes: QR codes with Komoot routes are available in the kiosk (scan with your phone).
- Pick-up location: De Ruytersraat 27, 7572BL in Oldenzaal

FAQ
Do I need to rent a helmet?
No. You can borrow a helmet for free. Wearing a helmet is mandatory.
Can I rent multiple bikes at once?
Yes. Simply choose the desired number during booking.
Which size mountain bike should I rent?
When booking, you select the size yourself. Each size includes a height indication, making it easy to choose the right bike.
Can I choose my own route or do I get suggestions?
QR codes with routes (Komoot) are available in the kiosk, which you can open on your phone. You can borrow a phone holder for free and return it after your ride.
Do I need to bring clip-in shoes?
Not necessary. Our bikes have flat pedals (no clip-in).
What are the pick-up and return times?
Daily between 08:00 and 20:00. You’ll instantly receive a personal code to unlock your bike.
What if I return the bike late?
Please return before 20:00. If that’s not possible, let us know. Late returns may incur extra charges.
What happens in bad weather?
Rental continues in rain; mountain biking is an outdoor sport. In case of thunder, storm, or icy conditions: contact us in advance to discuss.
What if I get a flat tire (or have other issues)?
An emergency kit (patch set + mini pump) is available in the kiosk; please return it after use. We don’t offer a pickup service. If you can’t continue, lock the bike securely, share your location with us, and we’ll help think of a solution to get you back.
What if I cause damage?
Normal wear and tear is fine. In case of damage, loss, or theft, costs may be charged. Always report damage within 24 hours.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
At the moment, it is not yet possible to change or cancel a booking online. Please contact us via info@mtbtwente.nl and we will look for a suitable solution together.
