2. What data we process

We only process data that you provide to us yourself or that is necessary for the use of our website:

Contact and reservation details (such as name, email address, phone number, rental period and number of bikes).
Payment details (handled via an external payment provider; we only receive a confirmation/status).
Technical data (such as IP address and browser information) for security and anonymous statistics.

3. Why we process data

To process reservations and payments.
To contact you in case of questions or issues.
To comply with our administration and legal obligations.
To improve our website and services (statistics, anonymous).
To prevent and investigate misuse or theft of our bikes.

4. Retention periods

Reservation and contact details: as long as necessary for service and follow-up.
Administration (invoices/payments): 7 years (legal retention obligation).
IP logs: maximum of 12 months, unless longer is required in case of an incident.
Statistics: anonymized and not traceable to individuals.

5. Sharing with third parties

We only share data when necessary for our services or if legally required. This includes our payment provider, hosting partner and external services such as Google Maps. We never sell personal data to third parties.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, transfer your data, and to object to processing. Send your request to info@mtbtwente.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your data, such as encrypted connections (SSL) and limited access.
